CO9FgGfUcAEwctrW8SH is the MSUARC Club Station, located in room 2121 of the MSU Engineering Building. The shack currently features a Ten-Tec Orion II with Ten-Tec Centurion amplifier, connected to PC for Internet and digital modes. Our satellite station is a Kenwood TS-2000. Students can check out remote control head units for our WiFi connected Kenwood TS-480 and operate from anywhere on campus.

Screen Shot 2016-08-11 at 8.45.55 PMW8MSU is the MSUARC club repeater, operating on 442.9 MHz with a +5MHz shift. We use a 77hz CTCSS Tone. The rig is a state-of-the-art Yaesu DR-1X digital / analog machine, connected to Echolink Node 442900.

Listen for the latest amateur radio news, Wednesdays at 7PM, updated weather on demand and for weekly link-ups to the W1YU Tuesday night collegiate ham radio nets. W8MSU also connects to the Worldwide Friendship Net, daily at 10AM ET.
